ABOUT ME:
Brittny Williams, M.A., is a Christ follower, writer, producer and lover of people. Her life's goal is to steward all God has given her to serve Him and others, to answer her calling, and to ultimately leave this life as an empty vessel. An Indiana University graduate, she later earned her Master's Degree from Liberty University ('23). She is passionate about uncovering facts to support her faith and sharing her findings with others, knowing that truth liberates the mind, body, and soul. She absolutely adores her family and friends and is inspired by them daily. She lives by Proverbs 3:5-6 and loves taking giant leaps of faith- giving "All Glory to God".

The Ministry.
As a believer, I live my life by Proverbs 3:5-6. My Grandma Bea gave me that verse as a pre-teen and I have been following along ever since:
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, lean not unto thine own understanding, acknowledge Him in all ways, and He shall direct thy path." (Proverbs 3:5-6)
God directs my path and recently 'Getting God' has grown- from the book title I prayed for- into the ministry I am called to. With God's blessing and instruction I am committed to sharing His word, His truth, and His love with all who have ears to hear. Through videos, studies, collaborations, and outreach efforts, my goal is to help more people 'Get God'.

I encourage you to find joy in studying God's truth. Daily study will benefit your life in undeniable ways. Devotional time looks different for everyone. However, I can offer some pointers:

Dedicate a space in your home where your Bible can stay opened and ready for you to return to it everyday. (Mine has evolved from a corner on the floor, to a quilt on the floor, to the same quilt on a papasan chair, to now a whole closet.)

Start a journal as a conversation with God; write your prayers, thoughts, questions, and new revelations. Tell Him about your day, your plans, your concerns. (I started 4 years ago. I picked a blue college rule notebook and started writing almost daily. Since, I have filled 24 blue college rule notebooks with my conversations with God. So pick a color and make it a 'you-and-God' thing.)

Outreach Efforts
Every 3rd Saturday of the month, I join Godly Girl Collective in serving our friends Downtown, Indianapolis. A hot meal, clothing, hygiene products and dry good/pantry items are available for those in need.
I will be announcing other outreach efforts as God releases me to do so.
I am excited to see all God has in store and I invite you to join me in serving God's people.

My Testimony.
All Glory to God.
I am a recovering people pleaser. I was raised by both of my grandmothers. Although they both kicked tail and took names, loved me unconditionally, and made sure I didn't want or need for anything - I still struggled with abandonment issues. As a result, I was a slave to expectations, image, and the ever-so-paralyzing curse of perfectionism. I felt like I had to be needed and necessary in everyone's life for them to want me around; for them to stay in my life. I ran myself crazy with saying 'yes'. Co-dependency was a default setting and I put myself on the back-burner. I tended to everyone else's need over my own and I didn't value myself. This led me to carry an unrelenting disdain for who I thought I was. Even worse, I shrouded my insecurities under a veil of false-confidence. I was judgmental towards myself, which kept me isolated from others.
That all changed when I found out exactly who Christ was. Not only did He validate me as a loved, chosen, never-abandoned, always-wanted child of the King, but the grace He bought for me through His death and resurrection freed me from the crushing yoke of perfectionism.
I am no longer a slave to the sin that bound me; worldly validation, generational curses and inherited sin have no power over me. I am loved freely and therefore I love freely.
